I had tried different specialists, and honestly, I didn't like the service they provided. I met Dr. Martinez when she started treating my son's knee problem. I really liked the service and attention they gave my son during and after his surgery, and without hesitation, I decided that Dr. Martinez was a good candidate to treat my knee problem. I waited over an hour to be seen which is highly unusual. At about 45 min in, I asked the front desk when I'd be seen. The woman at the front desk went to check. The other woman asked if I checked in. I said I did with someone that was no longer there. She assumed I was just sitting in the waiting area for I don't know what. I said I signed in on the chart. She said I should have told someone I was there. I said I did! The woman I checked in with gave me the chart to sign in. The front desk woman assumed I had done something wrong. I don't know what protocol is but I assume when you sign the chart then you are waiting to be seen. It's unacceptable to have someone waiting in the waiting room for over 45 min without asking them if they need help. And once my appt time came and went, do you not check if that person is there?!?
