About Melissa Martinez, DO
Dr. Martinez received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Michigan State University and competed her residency, where she served as chief resident, at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI.
Dr. Martinez previously served as team physician for the Boston Red Sox minor league affiliate team and the Worcester Red Sox. She also served as the team physician for Worcester State University as well as other local colleges and high schools in the Worcester area. She served as an associate professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2018-2022.

Dr. Martinez is very attentive, very thorough, lets me know what I'm supposed to be doing and what I shouldn't be doing and very adamant about just trying to keep me back to where I was before or even better. I really appreciate just the level of care and attention I've gotten from the staff and her. And it's just been a great experience besides the injury, it's been a great experience.

Highly recommend. Dr knew my two shoulder injuries were negatively impacting day to day life and insurance would treat or pay for tests. She literally 'made' an appointment in her busy schedule to give me cortisone shots to help. Seriously grateful. She's terrific! Staff very nice too.

She clearly explains everything, including the options for treatments that are available to manage the pain, and each step of the procedure while she is draining fluid from his knee and administering a cortisone shot. She helps us to make the best decision for him given his age and overall health/cognitive issues and we trust her assessments and care.

She clearly explains everything, including the options for treatments that are available to manage the pain, and each step of the procedure while she is draining fluid from his knee and administering a cortisone shot. She helps us to make the best decision for him given his age and overall health/cognitive issues and we trust her assessments and care.

Highly recommend. Dr knew my two shoulder injuries were negatively impacting day to day life and insurance would treat or pay for tests. She literally 'made' an appointment in her busy schedule to give me cortisone shots to help. Seriously grateful. She's terrific! Staff very nice too.

Dr. Martinez is very attentive, very thorough, lets me know what I'm supposed to be doing and what I shouldn't be doing and very adamant about just trying to keep me back to where I was before or even better. I really appreciate just the level of care and attention I've gotten from the staff and her. And it's just been a great experience besides the injury, it's been a great experience.
