I really enjoyed Dr. Potter and seeing her, but there was an issue with checking in with the receptionist, just that they wanted me to pay a certain portion from my insurance, which is instead of just doing my co-pay and then my processing it through my insurance and billing me. She just, she had a bad attitude about it, but she went and talked to her supervisor and the supervisor said that it was fine that we did it, you know, that way, billing the insurance first and then sending me my bill. But just her attitude in general, it was not it and it really, really put a sour taste from the receptionist. But everybody else, they were phenomenal. They were amazing. But just her, and I get that we all have a job and we have ?

Griffin OB has always provided excellent care and their staff is unmatched. I would like to say the move into the new building was a positive experience for me but as with anything, there's room for improvement. The front desk staff was informative but the greeting was cold and unwelcoming. I have been twice in less than a month and was met with the same greeting both times. Once in the exam room, I noticed there were no curtains or place to change and this felt this odd since it is an OB-GYN. I would expect more than this especially since this is a new facility. Dr Potter and her staff are always kind and compassionate and I must say after the visit to the new and upgraded facility, if it weren't for her and the care she has provided to me for over 16 years, I would definitely look for another provider whose focus is on welcoming a patient with a smile that costs nothing, words other than what's your date of birth, and providing a little bit more privacy in a gynecologist office. Dr Potter and her staff should be represented much better than what Wellstar Griffin is currently providing.

I know we're not native to this country, but we deserve empathy because we treat people with respect. When I told the receptionist I didn't speak English, she rolled her eyes as if it bothered her. We should treat all staff with empathy; we all pay for our services and deserve to be well taken care of regardless of language!
