Dr. Matthew Warren was born and raised in East Point, Georgia. His father was an airline captain based at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, Dr. Warren received his medical degree and completed his internship at the Medical College of Virginia. During his training, his family relocated to Peachtree City in 1987. He went on to complete a residency in family medicine and began his career practicing primary care and emergency medicine in Alabama.
In 2013, Dr. Warren returned to Peachtree City, where he has served patients ever since. Before joining Wellstar, he has been a primary care physician with the Veterans Administration, providing compassionate care to those who have served our country.
With several family members living in Senoia, Dr. Warren was excited to learn about plans for a new Wellstar primary care office in the community. He joined the Wellstar team to help open Wellstar Primary Care Senoia and is thrilled to begin caring for patients close to home.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Warren and his wife, Abigail, share six children, including energetic twin boys who keep them on their toes. The family enjoys church, sports, and traveling together. Dr. Warren is passionate about building strong relationships with his patients and helping them live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Upon arriving the front desk nurse was very polite and helped me through getting all set up rather quickly. The nurse was very helpful very patient and made me feel right at ease with being there and I'm not one to like to go to doctors. We went through a series of questions and she got down some information the same kind of thing you do at most doctors, however there was a difference here when Dr. Warren came in right off the bat. He was very easy to talk to. He took his time and got to know me from an edit or two, then he said I've got some questions for you. I was reviewing your chart.. dr. Warren had taken the time to go over my chart. Extensively actually brought some things to my attention that I may want to be aware of and making decisions and some of the medication's that I've been taking. Just giving me food for thought and give me a "why" he's telling me. He moved on item by item on the things that were on my chart. He not only took time to review my chart, but took time to bring things to my attention that I had put in my chart and just learned to live with. Dr. Warren spent 45 minutes with me getting to know my health history getting to know me and making me feel more relaxed than I've ever felt to the doctors office. As I was leaving, I told him I wanted to tell him something. I said Dr. Warren I don't like doctors. I don't go to doctors. I typically figure out ways to fix things myself and I've done pretty well over the years on the minor things that I could do something about. I said I don't trust doctors. I said Dr. Warren I trust you in the short period of time I've gotten to know you in this last hour or so you've earned my trust and I don't trust very many people. You're an incredible guy and an incredible doctor. Thank you.
