As a fellow healthcare provider, I fully respect the importance of maintaining a 10-minute late policy. However, I was recently delayed due to an unavoidable highway incident and arrived 15-16 minutes late, despite calling ahead to notify the office while en route. What was most disappointing was the lack of flexibility or empathy shown-especially considering I have a strong record of punctuality and drove nearly 50 miles for the appointment. Rather than checking with the provider upon my call, I was told rescheduling was the only option. By the time they finally did check, it was too late to be seen for my 30-minute visit. In my own practice, we try to accommodate patients in similar situations, especially when they give us advance notice. It was discouraging to see no such effort made here. My husband, a physician at Wellstar, and I both found the experience unprofessional and inconsistent with the patient-centered care we strive for.

Dr Mary Savarie is amazing. She is friendly, listens carefully and explains everything clearly. She is a joy to deal with. The staff member (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) who checked me in and the one who checked me out couldn't have been nicer! A great office that I highly recommend. I've been coming to this office for 20 years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
