The staff was very helpful when I called with questions & concerns about my post operative care. They reached Dr. Aguilera (it was her surgery day) to let her know my concerns. I had emailed pictures of my wound concerns as well as what I what I using on the wounds over the previous weekend to the practice so they could see what I was trying to explain. The nurse called me back with the Dr.'s updated directions. Scheduling was able to get me an appointment to see Dr. Aguilera the next day which was one day before my post op visit was previously scheduled. It was a very good experience. I felt that everyone was helpful, professional, and cared about my issues and everyone went above and beyond from the first appointment to the last. I highly respect and Recommend Dr. Aguilera and her staff at General surgery for anyone in need of her services.

I want to emphasize that I was very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. My recovery was excellent, and I experienced no pain. My concern is not about the quality of the surgery or the care I received afterwards. My concern is that I made repeated efforts to have my questions answered before surgery and I was told I would have opportunity to speak directly with the surgeon on the morning of the procedure. Based on my recollection, that conversation did not occur before anesthesia was administered. As a first time surgical patient, having the opportunity to discuss my concerns directly with my surgeon before the procedure would have provided reassurance and confidence that my questions had been fully addressed.

Yes, it was very hard to get information on my surgery out. Dr. Aguilera, I went there three times to meet with Dr. Aguilera on appointments and didn't get very good. I didn't get really the information until right before I was supposed to go into surgery. I thought that was very uncool. Outside of that, everything else was fine, but not real happy with the no information and kind of wasting some time to and from appointments that didn't happen.

As soon as I connected with this practice, I immediately felt at ease. So grateful I chose Dr. Aguilera as my surgeon.

I thought the staff and the admittance and the doctor did a really good job listening and being concerned and coming up with a treatment plan and a plan of action. What I think could have been improved on is letting me know what that treatment plan involves, like what to expect and anticipate and what the aftercare would be like. So I still don't know exactly what that looks like, how long it would take to heal, potential problems as far as what could occur and how to address that. Perhaps this is something that would be discussed with when I get the call a week prior to surgery, but kind of knowing what to expect as far as downtime and healing time and ?

The staff was very helpful when I called with questions & concerns about my post operative care. They reached Dr. Aguilera (it was her surgery day) to let her know my concerns. I had emailed pictures of my wound concerns as well as what I what I using on the wounds over the previous weekend to the practice so they could see what I was trying to explain. The nurse called me back with the Dr.'s updated directions. Scheduling was able to get me an appointment to see Dr. Aguilera the next day which was one day before my post op visit was previously scheduled. It was a very good experience. I felt that everyone was helpful, professional, and cared about my issues and everyone went above and beyond from the first appointment to the last. I highly respect and Recommend Dr. Aguilera and her staff at General surgery for anyone in need of her services.
