I was transferred over to Dr. Chhetri after Dr. Zakai moved to another office. I was concerned about the change, because I thoroughly felt safe and heard with Dr. Zakai. Dr. Chhetri did not disappoint! She was the first Dr. to offer me a zoom appt, which I found to be extremely convenient. I did not feel like my appt was less than it would have been had I gone into the office. Dr. Chhetri was very thorough and helpful with my questions and treatment plan. Her knowledge and attention given to my diagnosis and test results was extremely appreciated.

I suffered with hypothyroidism since 2014 and I have been on my current thyroid medication since 2017. To come into our first visit telling me straight away you don't prescribe my medication without knowing my prior medication history or detailed lab work history is very dangerous. I have struggled many years with my thyroid and finally feel stable after several med changes over the years and I did not feel comfortable making changes (especially since I just met her). I was not there for her to change my meds, I was there because I was referred to her regarding a thyroid nodule. She told me that basically no other endocrinologist would feel comfortable prescribing the medicine because her colleagues felt the same way about the medicine. I was shocked and it made me feel as if I would not truly be able to get the care I need from any Wellstar Endocrinologist.

Maria the medical assistant was very detailed in reviewing my medication list, and she was very polite. Dr. Mamta Chhetri took the time to listen to my concerns, showing genuine interest in my health and well being.

Nothing at all was wrong with the staff. Unfortunately it was a pointless visit that I had to pay $400+ out of pocket because I've already visited an endocrinologist and did everything this current endocrinologist was going to do so there was nothing done for me during my visit.

I found our video appointment allowed for an improved connection. We were face to face and able to discuss my current health status without distractions. Since I monitor my diabetes with Dexcom, have a personal blood pressure machine and results from recent bloodwork we were able to have a wonderful discussion about our next steps. This is s my preferred medical interaction.l prefer an interactive relationship with my doctors and this visit fit the bill. Thank you.
