I'm truly thankful to have found a practice that makes me feel important. After spending my whole adolescence with one trusted doctor, I was truly anxious about having to find a new practice as an adult especially being a minority (afrolatina).

The front desk reception area needs customer service training. The woman who checked me in did not smile and seemed apathetic about her job, me, and others who checked in after me. I noticed her "cold", indifferent attitude. "Checking the boxes" as if she'd rather be anywhere else than here. Unpleasant. Yet, she was laughing and smiling with staff behind the desk while apathetic and unfriendly to the public, the patients.

It's not always easy to find a doctor who combines excellent medical care with genuine compassion, but that was absolutely my experience today. I left feeling heard, reassured, and very confident in the care I received. I'm incredibly grateful and would highly recommend this practice! Madison Whorton is the best.
