About Lisa Leggio, MD

After graduating from Emory University with a degree in psychology, Dr. Leggio earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and stayed to complete her pediatric training. She was a resident when Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia opened. Dr. Leggio has worked as a board-certified general pediatrician with a research focus on education. She is passionate about educating not only her patients and families, but also medical students, residents and faculty.

Ms. Leggio is excellent. She's a very great listener. I didn't have any issues with getting anything I needed resolved, including school papers that I needed for my daughter. She actually gave some great advice. I mean, welcoming, nice, no issues at all. I definitely recommend her and the whole practice to anybody that's looking for child care, excuse me, looking for child care pediatrician, a child pediatrician.
