Dr. Layman is an excellent physician and I trust him completely. However, the assistant that took me back before my imaging procedure talked way too fast to where I didn't understand the exact steps of what I was supposed to do to prepare for the test. She was not very professional or friendly. Also, I waited almost 90 minutes in the imaging waiting room. At this point I politely asked the receptionist if I missed something when I checked in and she completely skipped over me in the line of patients. This is human error, however, it may be helpful if there was less gossip and socializing at the front desk and more of a focus on patient care, so the patient's time isn't wasted. I am disappointed in my experience with Wellstar, but am always grateful to Dr. Layman for his knowledge, time, and treatment of me as a patient.

The intake nurses at WellSTAR REI are always very personable and friendly and warm, but I feel like the doctors who do my transvaginal ultrasounds are very rushed and often late to the appointments, and I feel like I'm bothering them if I have any questions or want to know the outcome of my imagery. One thing I'll also say is that I rarely get into my appointments on time and I, the last several times have had to wait upwards to an hour and a little over an hour just to be seen, which is very frustrating considering I often get there 30 to 45 minutes early. Thank you.

The issue I have is with Wellstar. It was extremely frustrating getting an appointment with the doctor via referral. The Wellstar people seemed unable to identify which endocrinologist I should see. I had to do my own research. Also I was told I could not be put on a list to take the next available appointment while I waited months for mine.

Dr. Layman is an excellent physician. I have been going to him for probably 25 years and trust him totally. However, the physical office needs refurbishing. The exam rooms are small; the bathrooms in the exam room (a necessity for GYN) are very tiny. Today, there was no toilet paper in there. Women who are coming here for infertility or reproductive treatment should have a nice environment (e.g., think of the breast health/mammography office in the hospital). The treatment rooms have been this way for years. It's a shame.

Hey, the main issue was with getting a billing estimate updated, which it wasn't in time, and I was just forced to approve an estimate that was inaccurate to go to my appointment, but there was no indication that that was the holdup. So I did miss half of my appointment because of an issue with WellStar's user interface, I would say, for the, you know, the billing and all the pre-check-in for an online telehealth appointment. That's not really on the people in the office as far as I can tell. And there was no indication through the user interface for MyChart to know that that's what was holding up my appointment. So that's really more on WellStar and whoever programs your MyChart stuff that I feel like you should ?

I had concerns that were summarily dismissed. I never got a return call about some of my concerns. I had to inform the physician my timeline of being seen. I'm not certain that my health is being managed well.

There's no need for improvement. I've been dealing with Dr. Layman more than 10 years, 15 to 16 years to be exact. And I appreciate all his service and also his workers, the staff, they are wonderful. And he's an awesome doctor.

The issue I have is with Wellstar. It was extremely frustrating getting an appointment with the doctor via referral. The Wellstar people seemed unable to identify which endocrinologist I should see. I had to do my own research. Also I was told I could not be put on a list to take the next available appointment while I waited months for mine.

Dr. Layman and his staff are beyond amazing. I especially want to thank and recognize Katie for all the work she continually does to help my treatment. She is amazing!

The intake nurses at WellSTAR REI are always very personable and friendly and warm, but I feel like the doctors who do my transvaginal ultrasounds are very rushed and often late to the appointments, and I feel like I'm bothering them if I have any questions or want to know the outcome of my imagery. One thing I'll also say is that I rarely get into my appointments on time and I, the last several times have had to wait upwards to an hour and a little over an hour just to be seen, which is very frustrating considering I often get there 30 to 45 minutes early. Thank you.

Dr. Layman is an excellent physician and I trust him completely. However, the assistant that took me back before my imaging procedure talked way too fast to where I didn't understand the exact steps of what I was supposed to do to prepare for the test. She was not very professional or friendly. Also, I waited almost 90 minutes in the imaging waiting room. At this point I politely asked the receptionist if I missed something when I checked in and she completely skipped over me in the line of patients. This is human error, however, it may be helpful if there was less gossip and socializing at the front desk and more of a focus on patient care, so the patient's time isn't wasted. I am disappointed in my experience with Wellstar, but am always grateful to Dr. Layman for his knowledge, time, and treatment of me as a patient.
