The doctor had zero knowledge of a particular medication I mentioned and recommended surgery for a condition easily treated by an inexpensive medication.

Hi, perhaps maybe internal operations could have a more streamlined communication when medical requests come through via fax and are uplated into MyChart. We had an issue where I came in specifically for a surgical clearance and had the office of the surgical orthopedic fax over the clearance form, surgical clearance form, and it was not received even though they confirmed they had faxed it over. The nurse that was caring for me to do, you know, the pre-assessments before I actually saw the doctor, she was kind enough to double check and sure enough, it was there. They just had not acknowledged the facts. So if that fact, she did not double check, my whole day would have been ruined and to set up my schedule for surgery would have been a failure on my end, meaning that I would have ?
