I've had a lot of doctors, but Dr. Patel is the best! She really listens and works with me to resolve issues. When I learned I had breast cancer (through a My Chart message after all doctor's offices had closed) she called me from the airport where she and her family were getting ready to leave on a vacation. She wanted to talk to me about options and next steps. I was blown away! That shows a caring and above and beyond effort that not many doctors show. And I know doctors. I produced a TV health feature for nine years in Dallas, Texas, before moving to the Atlanta area. And I produced an asthma information video used in Dallas public schools. Dr. Patel is terrific. I have referred her to family and friends as an excellent care provider. And I will continue to do so.

The treatment I received from both my provider and her medical assistant was wonderful as usual. BUT I arrived about 15 minutes early for my appointment and was told my PCP was running behind, which is understandable. It was 30 minutes before I got into the exam room and another 30 or more before I saw my PCP. She always takes her time with me answering my questions. And she did thank me for my patience as she left. The main problem was that the waiting room/lobby was freezing. Even the staff wears multilayers of clothing while the sit at reception desk. The exam room was also very cold, but the medical assistant brought me a blanket which was MUCH appreciated!
