I would say with me being a new patient there, it wasn't really the most welcoming when it came to the nurse practitioner that I had seen. I have had better experiences. I felt like it was very short. I mean, the job was done, but it was very short. It wasn't really very informative like I'm used to. I will not be returning. I really didn't have a pleasant visit. The phlebotomist there was very good. The medical assistant, she was good, but I really didn't care for the nurse practitioner. I got labs done and she still has not wrote a comment about my labs like I have in the past. They're usually on it, but I could tell she's not really on it.

My provider Joyce provides the most astounding medical assessment, care and follow up far exceeding my expectations. My health is improving. Unfortunately I have been non compliant due to low self esteem. I'm not exactly sure how she is doing but I find myself caring about myself more improving my health far greater than any mental health professionals have. She does it in a way that's so undercover empowering but caring in a positive way with appropriate boundaries, caring and understanding. I was so impressed how she expressed her concerns and ensured the hematologist phoned me within an hour to follow up on abnormal lab work. Thank you Wellstar sometimes when you get so down on yourself simply treating someone with low expectations of people being concerned being treated with such kindness with the right amount of accountability can be the start of getting on the right track.
