I was waiting in my room for over a hour . I got to my appointment on time . I never was seen so I left very unprofessional and ridiculous. Somebody could have let me know that it was gonna be a minute before the doctor came or let me know or came in to check up on me, but nobody did nothing. The nurse was just on the phone.

The doctor and his assistant were absolutely amazing! Described everything to the finest detail and were so personable and listened to everything I had questions about, and introduced options I hadn't even thought of!!! Absolutely hilarious with phenomenal 'bedside manner' without downplaying anything I told them about and immediately backed up any decisions I made in my appointment. 10/10 awesome!

The facility itself does not have enough signage or parking to know where a new patient should attend, as well as when you enter the building after asking for assistance, there is still not enough signage to know where one should check in for said appointment. When being referred by a doctor, you should accept the insurance of the patient that was referred, not have a patient wait 45 minutes for a doctor assistant to come in to repeat the same thing when the doctor came in, only to get a follow-up appointment so you're billing insurance erroneously, unnecessarily.

I have always liked going to WellSTAR for any of my medical services outside of the VA. I feel that the WellSTAR staff always cares about their patients, not just what they're there for, but actually acquiring history and background information that can assist with the diagnosis of what the patient is looking for. And I felt within the short period of time that Megan and Dr. Lue took care of me that I felt more seen and heard than I have in the past 16 years with this issue.

I really liked Dr. Lue. The medical student that worked with him was very nice, and I think she took a thorough report. However, she was the person who actually did my pelvic exam, and from the results I see in the computer, she did not get enough cells. And so now I guess I'm left knowing that I have to come in and have the entire exam repeated, and I'm wondering, Financially, is that my responsibility? This was a student, and Dr. Lue didn't go behind her and also did the exam, so it kind of comes into question. Even though he is a great teacher and she did a good job initially, the actual physical exam part, the worst part of this exam, of this whole yearly exam is the pelvic exam, and now that has to be repeated.
