Initial diagnosis and pre- and post-op care was professional and clearly explained. I went from trouble walking (imbalance, asymmetric muscle weakness, extreme back and leg nerve pain, and even intermittent lower extremity paralysis and numbness) to near total elimination of symptoms. My muscle strength and normal sensations in my legs were restored, and I had normal, pain-free mobility by four months post-op. Another benefit that I can't overstate was the psychological change from fear of permanent loss of mobility and chronic pain to moving normally with pain-free confidence.

Dr. Devine put in rods from top to bottom of my spine with four supporting rods and two anchor screws through the buttocks. I saw Dr. Devine last week for back problems, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. For the first time, I feel truly optimistic because they have a plan to fix my situation! The entire staff was amazing, but a special shout-out to Princess, Alicia, and Dr. Devine-they were all so professional and kind. Timing was great including x-rays which were scheduled for when I first went in. Doctor Devine was on top of everything and all steps identified before surgery are happening as explained. He continues to express his expectations and concern to stay to plan. His surgical expertise is the best as my recovery allows more movement without pain and a positive future.

Everyone from the check in ladies to all the nurses, ex-rat techs, Nurse practitioners and Dr were so patient with me. They answered my questions and were so good and fast it was amazing. Dr Devine was very thorough with my exam and answered my and my husband's questions so that we understood what needed to be done. I would recommend Dr Devine to anyone having back and spinal problems.

Dr Devine was great, and his staff were equally excellent. The results of my spinal fusion surgery were, in my experience, nothing short of miraculous. Initial diagnosis and pre- and post-op care was professional and clearly explained. I went from trouble walking (imbalance, asymmetric muscle weakness, extreme back and leg nerve pain, and even intermittent lower extremity paralysis and numbness) to near total elimination of symptoms. My muscle strength and normal sensations in my legs were restored, and I had normal, pain-free mobility by four months post-op. Another benefit that I can't overstate was the psychological change from fear of permanent loss of mobility and chronic pain to moving normally with pain-free confidence.

Dr. Devine and staff are very professional, yet friendly. They listen to every question or concern and address it promptly. I drive 6 hours to see Dr. Devine who performed a spinal osteotomy on me 3 1/2 months ago which has allowed me to walk upright without being in excruciating pain. The trip is a small price to pay for this gift which feels like freedom to me. I appreciate everything he and his staff have done for me as they follow my post surgery care. I thank the Lord for sending me that way.
