I had a 10:45 appointment, I wasn't seen until 11:30, and that's after I reminded the receptionist, she said that I had been marked as a no-show when at 10:30 I specifically looked her in the face and said I have a 10:45 appointment and she checked me in, so either she's incompetent or you have a problem with your system. I was told you've been having issues with your system. I sat and waited, during that wait time another couple, older couple walked up and the lady also told them that they had had a no-show from before and they said impossible, we never miss an appointment, we've never missed an appointment, something is going wrong with your system, fix it.

This was a really frustrating experience. It took me months to get my physical exam and I got there when I was supposed to get there. I did all my pre-paperwork and still I did not see the doctor until 45 minutes after my appointment was started and the only reason I saw her was because I opened the door to say hey, I have to leave at noon and the nurse had told me 20 minutes earlier, even 20 minutes late, had told me she's in the room next to you, she'll be right with you. 20 minutes and so I opened the door and I said, hey, I have to go by noon. What is happening here? And she said, oh, she'll be right with you. And I said, that's what you said 20 minutes ago. And then I saw Dr. Shin come out of her office. So she was not in the exam room next to me. She was in her office. So I literally had barely, I think my appointment for my physical exam, my annual exam, was maybe 10 minutes.

For many appointments, I am given a wrong estimate of cost for a doctor's visit. Wellstar has all my insurance information on file, but the visit is often not coded correctly showing I need to make a payment. When I check in, it is always corrected and I do not own a payment. Wish this could be corrected before my doctor visit.

I had an appointment for 3:15p that was rescheduled same day to 3:30p. I spent less than 10 mins with the Dr for what was supposed to be a "physical." No follow-up re medications, just looked at the screen and put in refills, no questions about my heart after getting a new diagnosis last year. I asked her if I needed a new referral for the cardiologist and she replied "I don't know" and just put one in anyway. I was told to "watch the bottom number of my blood pressure." No explanation to why AND how do I watch it without a blood pressure cuff? Then I was told to schedule up front for 6 months, only to walk up front and everyone was gone and told I would have to call to schedule an appointment. Why are staff leaving when patients are still in the office??? The "care" is subpar, rushed. If I wasn't healthy and needed true physician care, I would need to find a new PCP.

She has been amazing. I am so amazed at Dr. Shin and the work that she's done to get the diabetes and my A1C down, as well as my weight down and my working out and everything up and my blood pressure down. Have been a patient of Dr. J. Shin for over 7 years. Since then I have NEVER had an unfavorable interface (medically) with her. She is the absolute best an her craft.

I had a 10:45 appointment, I wasn't seen until 11:30, and that's after I reminded the receptionist, she said that I had been marked as a no-show when at 10:30 I specifically looked her in the face and said I have a 10:45 appointment and she checked me in, so either she's incompetent or you have a problem with your system. I was told you've been having issues with your system. I sat and waited, during that wait time another couple, older couple walked up and the lady also told them that they had had a no-show from before and they said impossible, we never miss an appointment, we've never missed an appointment, something is going wrong with your system, fix it.
