Jessica was so friendly and listened to everything my son told her regarding his health concerns. We didn't feel rushed and felt she genuinely cared and wanted to help. My younger son even mentioned after we left that she was so nice.

I had a positive experience with the provider but a negative experience with the office staff. At check-in for my son's appointment, I was informed of an outstanding balance. It was not communicated that this was a recent balance for someone else in the family at another facility, and for someone on an entirely different insurance plan. It was confusing, frustrating, and confrontational, especially because Wellstar has recently (and on multiple occasions) billed us incorrectly, and egregiously so. I consider the situation prior to my son's appointment to have been inappropriate and insensitive, and bordering on predatory. At the very least, office staff should have understood and better communicated the details of the balance they were requesting of me. Ideally, though, they should have left this to the billing department so that my focus could remain where it needed to be - on my son prior to his neuro consult.
