Unfortunately, I was having an extreme anxiety attack and I was extremely tired and frustrated. So I was a little off the rails, but I finally got everything out and he listened. He did a great job actually. And he sent me medication, which I'm not told about, but I will try it. I haven't had success with that in the past. We did have a difference of opinion on what exacerbated this problem. But I was lucky to get in so quickly, but the follow-up visit is a year away. That is not okay. That is absolutely not okay, even though he said we would have telehealth visits. That is absolutely not okay. I mean, he did listen, so that's good. Thank you.

I always like Dr. Pruitt. He's like a family. He's like a brother. He used to have PAs or nurse practitioners working with him who did like reflex neurological exam for him. That was lacking. We mainly just sat and talked, which I trust him and his concern that he has for me. Went to Dr. Pruitt years ago, then my life got crazy. Then my GP referred me to a different neurologist after years of suffering with migraines. The new neurologist always had their PA do the work and I didn't even see the doc for ten minutes each visit. They never sat down and explained anything to me or even a treatment plan. Just pushed me off on their PA or wanted to send me to a headache specialist in Atlanta. Fast forward to recently, had an unrelated issue and was referred back to Dr. Pruitt, and boy am I ever grateful to be back under his care. He sits and listens, draws funny diagrams of thing to help explain an issue I have, set up a treatment plan, and ordered scans to see what is going on in my stubborn head. He is a night and day difference from my other doctor because they made me feel like things are in my head (pun intended) or that I was someone just out looking for drugs. I guess what I am trying to get across, is that I didn't know how much I missed a doctor that is genuinely concerned about his patience and he even said that he is here to help me, no matter what I ask of him. In this day and age, doctors like him are hard to come by. Oh, and he even suggested a homeopathic route for my treatment. When do you hear doctors telling you to try that way anymore? Thank you Dr. Pruitt for making me feel like a human and not just a number.

Dr. Jerry Pruitt has wonderful bedside manner. He is compassionate and nonjudgmental. A lot of medical professionals could learn from him! I always have a meaningful conversation with him as well as all of the staff at Wellstar Fury's Ferry. The office has a calming and pleasing atmosphere. Went to Dr. Pruitt years ago, then my life got crazy. Then my GP referred me to a different neurologist after years of suffering with migraines. The new neurologist always had their PA do the work and I didn't even see the doc for ten minutes each visit. They never sat down and explained anything to me or even a treatment plan. Just pushed me off on their PA or wanted to send me to a headache specialist in Atlanta. Fast forward to recently, had an unrelated issue and was referred back to Dr. Pruitt, and boy am I ever grateful to be back under his care. He sits and listens, draws funny diagrams of thing to help explain an issue I have, set up a treatment plan, and ordered scans to see what is going on in my stubborn head. He is a night and day difference from my other doctor because they made me feel like things are in my head (pun intended) or that I was someone just out looking for drugs. I guess what I am trying to get across, is that I didn't know how much I missed a doctor that is genuinely concerned about his patience and he even said that he is here to help me, no matter what I ask of him. In this day and age, doctors like him are hard to come by. Oh, and he even suggested a homeopathic route for my treatment. When do you hear doctors telling you to try that way anymore? Thank you Dr. Pruitt for making me feel like a human and not just a number.

I have been with this provider for years and want to stay here. However, I hate how difficult it is to get an appointment, even as an established patient. I was asked by the provider to come back in 6 months to follow up on a change in medication but the earliest available was 10 months.

I always like Dr. Pruitt. He's like a family. He's like a brother. He used to have PAs or nurse practitioners working with him who did like reflex neurological exam for him. That was lacking. We mainly just sat and talked, which I trust him and his concern that he has for me. I don't like his schedulers and his the nurses that worked for him were in a rush, family, more of a kind of a military topic with them. Unfortunately, I was having an extreme anxiety attack and I was extremely tired and frustrated. So I was a little off the rails, but I finally got everything out and he listened. He did a great job actually. And he sent me medication, which I'm not told about, but I will try it. I haven't had success with that in the past. We did have a difference of opinion on what exacerbated this problem. But I was lucky to get in so quickly, but the follow-up visit is a year away. That is not okay. That is absolutely not okay, even though he said we would have telehealth visits. That is absolutely not okay. I mean, he did listen, so that's good. Thank you.
