He explained everything in a way that made her feel comfortable and informed, which meant a great deal to us as parents. Unacceptable front staff service. We checked in at the front desk. They said we're all set. We wait around for 35 minutes and nothing happens even though there are no other patients. I go up to the front desk (the cardiac assistant was gone) and another assistant checked and said something like "you should be all good now". Ten seconds later I received a text saying we were checked in. One minute later the nurse came out and got us. Three minutes later we were seeing the doctor. Clearly the first person didn't check us in correctly. Why didn't the practice ask themselves "where is our 3pm appointment" when obviously they weren't doing anything else. How long would we have sat there before someone asked "have you been helped"? This is the kind of care that drives people crazy. We took my daughter out of school early, when we didn't need to. And we might have sat there for two hours if we didn't have the gumption to go to the desk and ask what was happening!!! Not cool at all. Find some people who can push the "submit" button at check-in.

It is a scary thing to be sent to a cardiologist for your teen. This experience was incredible. The Dr was able to completely rule out certain concerns we had, and give direction on what could be causing the issues. My teen has mentioned all afternoon how she understood what he was saying and how he did such a good job of using words she could understand. He even found a way to joke with her in the appointment, and she is excited about follow up appointments, simply because of his manner with her. This is huge for our family.

It is a scary thing to be sent to a cardiologist for your teen. This experience was incredible. The Dr was able to completely rule out certain concerns we had, and give direction on what could be causing the issues. My teen has mentioned all afternoon how she understood what he was saying and how he did such a good job of using words she could understand. He even found a way to joke with her in the appointment, and she is excited about follow up appointments, simply because of his manner with her. This is huge for our family.

Dr Sacks was great. He was super friendly and listened to our concerns. He came in during the echo to check things out and get a visual on a specific area of the heart. He explained things that reassured us everything was ok.

Unacceptable front staff service. We checked in at the front desk. They said we're all set. We wait around for 35 minutes and nothing happens even though there are no other patients. I go up to the front desk (the cardiac assistant was gone) and another assistant checked and said something like "you should be all good now". Ten seconds later I received a text saying we were checked in. One minute later the nurse came out and got us. Three minutes later we were seeing the doctor. Clearly the first person didn't check us in correctly. Why didn't the practice ask themselves "where is our 3pm appointment" when obviously they weren't doing anything else. How long would we have sat there before someone asked "have you been helped"? This is the kind of care that drives people crazy. We took my daughter out of school early, when we didn't need to. And we might have sat there for two hours if we didn't have the gumption to go to the desk and ask what was happening!!! Not cool at all. Find some people who can push the "submit" button at check-in.

Dr. Sacks is simply amazing. He was thorough, patient, and took the time to ensure my daughter fully understood her upcoming surgery at such a young age. He explained everything in a way that made her feel comfortable and informed, which meant a great deal to us as parents. His professionalism, compassion, and ability to connect with pediatric patients are truly exceptional. We are very grateful for the excellent care and attention he provided.
