Hyunwoo (Sean) Do, M.D., received his medical degree from Yeungnam University College of Medicine in Daegu, South Korea. He completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea, followed by spine fellowship in Neurological Surgery at Harvard University, BIDMC (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center), The Ohio State University, and University of Cincinnati. He also completed general clinical fellowship in Neurological Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, Barnes Jewish Hospital. Dr. Do is board certified in Neurological Surgery by the Korean Neurosurgical Society, holds a Georgia state medical license, and is a member of AANS (American Association of Neurological Surgery), NASS (North American Spine Society), SMISS (Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery), and Korean Neurosurgical Society.
Dr. Do, a highly experienced neurosurgeon, specializes in spine surgery and provides services and treatments for patients ages 10 and up. His expertise includes spinal decompression, spinal fusion, spinal cord stimulator, spinal tumor, spinal and cranial trauma, dynamic reconstruction of the spine, spinal deformity and has a special focus on minimally invasive spine surgery and endoscopic spine surgery.
