About Hanna Akiki, MD
He completed his internship and residency at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, NY where he was also elected to be the chief medical resident for a year. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the State University of NY at Brooklyn.
Dr Akiki entered private practice in 2001. He has been practicing in Cobb and Douglas counties since 2007 with The Heart Clinic and Emory Heart and Vascular.
He Joined in Wellstar in Nov 2014 and he is currently on staff at Cobb, Douglas, Kennestone, and Paulding hospitals.
Dr Akiki is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and in Nuclear Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of cardiology.
When he is not busy taking care of his patients, Dr Akiki enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
