About Hanna Akiki, MD
He completed his internship and residency at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, NY where he was also elected to be the chief medical resident for a year. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the State University of NY at Brooklyn.
Dr Akiki entered private practice in 2001. He has been practicing in Cobb and Douglas counties since 2007 with The Heart Clinic and Emory Heart and Vascular.
He Joined in Wellstar in Nov 2014 and he is currently on staff at Cobb, Douglas, Kennestone, and Paulding hospitals.
Dr Akiki is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and in Nuclear Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of cardiology.
When he is not busy taking care of his patients, Dr Akiki enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.

I had left my cell phone at a business prior to arriving at my appointment. No matter how many times I asked (4) while checking in, they would not allow me to use a phone. It was very frustrating to be denied and then flat out ignored! It was nerve wracking! I didn't appreciate the way this was handled and if it had been my first visit, I would rethink coming back.

Was told they would set up my procedures, everyone was out to lunch. I was told they would call me after lunch with my schedule. No one called me with the info. Everyone in the office was great and pleasant.

I went back the second time to see Dr. Akiki and he wouldn't come out to see me. He gave me the wrong prescription. I cannot take the prescription he gave me. And I went back to Sam's and I waited until 5 o'clock and he never called in my prescription. Now I've got to make another trip up there and if you don't think it makes me a little uncomfortable, wel, you got it right there.
