I never should have had to come back 3 weeks after my son's birth to get his circumcision done in the first place. I was told the hospital staff was too busy the weekend he was born and I'd have to stay admitted another night and then MAYBE they'd have time on Monday. I was already moved around to different postpartum rooms because they'd been overbooked on rooms, but you'd think if they could be more efficient then people wouldn't have to stay so long. The alternative to another night, just to wait on a 10 min procedure, was that I could go home and come back for it, but they made it seem like I'd be back the next day or 2 - certainly that week. When I got home I got a call to make the appointment and they couldn't do it for 3 weeks! That was not ok, but at that point I didn't have a choice. My experience with Dr Titus was great, and everyone I've met at Wellstar has been lovely, but with Wellstar itself, in many ways, it has been a huge downgrade from my experiences at University/Peidmont. I would not recommend Wellstar if one had a choice.
