While it sounds crazy, Dr. Hathaway was good natured, which for me, is huge. It makes me feel more comfortable. He explained it all way more than I personally needed, but I'm sure others want that so I'm not complaining. The best thing about the interaction, he had a sense of humor, it made him feel more like a human to me, made me feel more like a human instead of a 'patient.' I've seen 5 doctors in the past 2 months not one has smiled besides Dr.Hathaway. That alone is remarkable to me. Also I hope i spelt his name correctly.

I am very disappointed with my post-operative care. I requested that the doctor send the tissue from surgery for culture and sensitivity due to my history and he failed to do that. I have asked him multiple times for a wound care consult, even before surgery, he failed to do that. He gave me some outdated wound care instructions, which was basically to clean my wound that had dehysted with purulent drainage. He told me to clean it with peroxide and keep it covered. So incomplete wound care orders and outdated wound care orders. And then I went to the emergency room
