The problem that I have is not with this practice, it's with WellSTAR. Unfortunately, WellSTAR forces the patients to have procedures always in a hospital setting regardless of how invasive they are and regardless of the fact that they have standalone facilities. Unfortunately, they have somehow managed to charge hospital rates for standalone facilities. For that reason, I'm going to have to locate a surgeon outside of WellStar in order to proceed with my procedure so that I can be given a fair price for what I need.

It was great meeting the doctor there, and I felt like all of the staff and everybody was very nice at Dr. Hathaway's office. I'm looking forward to a successful little surgery on my back where we need to remove a cyst. I do need to get an appointment there as soon as possible. I have an appointment, but I'm hoping to get this taken care of before because it's kind of annoying to me. Thank you very much. Bye now.

Aimee the nurse was very professional, sweet, informative and friendly. She made me feel comfortable. Dr. Hathaway is a gentle giant, friendly, professional, caring, a great listener and knowledgeable. He explained the surgery to me in letting me know what to expect before, during and after the surgery. He's really a kind and caring doctor. His PA was also in the room and she was extremely kind, professional and caring. The entire was friendly and I had a wonderful visit/experience.
