Yes, hello. I thought that the doctor was extremely kind and informative and caring and also listened intently on all of my problems. He did not dismiss me like a lot of other doctors have done. I am very disappointed with my post-operative care. I requested that the doctor send the tissue from surgery for culture and sensitivity due to my history and he failed to do that. I have asked him multiple times for a wound care consult, even before surgery, he failed to do that. He gave me some outdated wound care instructions, which was basically to clean my wound that had dehysted with purulent drainage. He told me to clean it with peroxide and keep it covered. So incomplete wound care orders and outdated wound care orders. And then I went to the emergency room

The problem that I have is not with this practice, it's with WellSTAR. Unfortunately, WellSTAR forces the patients to have procedures always in a hospital setting regardless of how invasive they are and regardless of the fact that they have standalone facilities. Unfortunately, they have somehow managed to charge hospital rates for standalone facilities. For that reason, I'm going to have to locate a surgeon outside of WellStar in order to proceed with my procedure so that I can be given a fair price for what I need.
