Dr. McCarter listened to my questions and concerns and answered them. She has an affectionate spirit and I highly recommend her and her team to all patients.

I think Dr McCarter is an excellent surgeon. She is very caring and concerned. If I had to have surgery again I would definitely choose her to do it. However, I do think she was dismissive of other health concerns and conditions that may have contributed to my need for surgery. Issues that have improved but have not disappeared since surgery. Overall, though, I give her an "A" for her expertise.

I usually suffer from severe "white coat syndrome" because I often feel like doctors are rushing to get to the next patient or just want to prescribe a pill to mask my symptoms. Dr. McCarter was completely different. She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely made me feel like she cared and listened. Instead of pushing a single agenda, she gave me all the necessary information to make my own informed decisions. She never presented her opinion as the only right way, which I deeply appreciated.
