I have a problem with asking more money than the copay. Actually it shouldn't have had any dollar amt for a yearly well visit but the staff insisted that I pay a co insurance amt which is more than my copay. I will be calling billing to get this refunded. Asking for money before a service provided is horrible. I understand that people don't pay but the rest of us shouldn't be asked for more and then wait for the refund which I have received several in the past year because I was forced to overpay. When I questioned the front desk about this it started out cordial then as I was explaining my insurance ....i do this for a living...the girl got testy and I gave it right back.

The main staff is very friendly and they take the time to make sure you are comfortable. I was afraid because I had to change offices because of insurance. They have made great in communicating and listening to what the patient has to say.

I have always enjoyed going to this practice and I find the staff to be extremely polite and efficient. However, this time I was pre-charged for my appointment and it was coded incorrectly. When I explained to the receptionist, I knew there wasn't much she could do, but I do not think that precharging someone for a visit is a very ethical practice. And if it happens again, I will have to look somewhere else.
