Elizabeth Chidumebi Nnakwue, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who provides comprehensive primary care for adults age 18 and older. She is currently accepting new patients and is committed to helping individuals achieve their best health through preventive care, patient education, and personalized treatment plans.
Dr. Nnakwue earned her medical degree from the University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital through Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Nnakwue provides care for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, with a special focus on diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and obesity. She believes a strong patient-provider relationship is the foundation of excellent care and takes the time to listen, understand each patient's unique needs, and provide evidence-based guidance that supports long-term health and wellness.
Outside of work, Dr. Nnakwue enjoys hiking, traveling to new places, trying new cuisines, and spending time with her family.
