My mother has dementia and I take her to her appointments. There needs to be some kind of marking on patients that have dementia so that the caregivers are asked, is this your caregiver? Does she, is she with you all the time? So that they will look to you more for not all the answers. I understand you cannot just not ask patients questions, but the answers need to be looked to from the caregivers of dementia patients, not looking at me like I'm being rude because I'm answering for my mom. Thank you.

I think I need to say this. Eileen was kind of all over the place. Kind of like she had ADHD and didn't take her medicine. I don't know what it was, but I would rather see the Doctor or another NP next time. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but that's the way I felt. I did not have a lot of confidence in her. I have always loved the people I have seen at Wellstar, but this was different.

Dr. Borkovich ordered a blood test and all of them were done except one because it wasn't covered under Medicare. So that is a problem and I'm not happy about that. I've never had a blood test not be paired by Medicare and the phlebotomist said she wasn't sure it would, so I signed a paper saying I did not want it. And you guys have not come back and talked to me and changed the wording on that test. So why is it that I'm the patient and you guys do not follow up on a problem?

The best thing y'all could probably do is she puts things on our portal. We don't know what those mean. We don't know the acronyms of those CT whatever's. Nobody sat there at all and even looked at the blood work before she even started talking. So just a little, yes, I'm a little teed that she did not fully do what needs to be done. I like her though, but they were very forgetful. You got to stay on them all the time.

The office visit went very well, and I was satisfied with the results. However, the follow up on scheduling the bone density test and digesting the added information post-visit was a bit confusing and clumsy. Perhaps getting used to communicating through MyChart contributed to the problem.
