Dr. Chin is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Rochester and a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the National Institutes of Health. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.He joined the faculty of the Medical College of Georgia as an Associate Professor in Medicine in 2002 after being on faculty at the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, Developmental Endocrinology Branch, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

I am so very thankful for Dr. Chin and his staff, Ramona, Kyrstan, Janita, and everyone else who worked together to make my thyroid biopsy a priority. They were aware it was important for me to have the test and know the results by a certain date and I'm still amazed at how quickly they pulled it all together for me. What they did significantly reduced my stress level and I am so grateful for their exceptional care.

Dr. Chin and staff were most professional kind, caring and most courteous which made the experience very pleasant. Ms. Nia the nurse was very kind to hold my hand through the procedure. Nice to be in the company of people who actually care about there patients and show it.

Only problem was that I had an appointment at 1:00pm. I arrived at 12:45pm and I didn't have the procedure begin until after 2:00pm, making me late for the patient I had to see.

I would like to know the results of what happened. I would like to know the results over the phone from my doctor or from the assistant so that I don't have to go online and try and work through all of that to get my diagnosis.

The process was not explained until arrival. I went through the normal process until time of consent. I'm Mr. Chin meant well but at that time the jokes used were not a humorous matter. Also, he had to perform all duties himself as pathology was not available. He didn't know where the staff went too. It made it harder for him to do the testing and get everything ready for the slides. The office used were dirty and unkept. I saw drops of blood on the floor. I didn't feel comfortable at all but did what needed to be done. This hospital was my number one but no longer because of its uncleanliness. I wouldn't recommend.
