I was extremely disappointed with my first experience. A family member recommended me and so I really anticipated having a great experience like she had. I felt like my voice wasn't heard. Like my concerns were completely dismissed. I felt like the doctor I saw just didn't care at all.

If you're in your 20s and experience any sort of chronic pain, expect Dr. Alexis to tell you that you need to exercise more and that you're simply just anxious. Wellstar's own urgent care sent over notes so I could be tested for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. Dr. Alexis refused to do either and simply told me to get on a mediterranean diet. Extremely disappointed and will have to keep trying to find a doctor that cares.

I came into the office without an appointment because I thought I was having a heart attack. They got me into an exam room, called 911, gave me 4 baby asprins and paramedics arrived and took over. I felt so safe and cared for. I was transported to Kennestone Hospital. Thank you!
