I was definitely very pleased with all the Oncology staff, from Reception to Dr. Kirkel and his nurse. Dr. Kirkel was extremely patient with me, listening attentively to all my concerns and explaining my illness, and our language barrier with the translator was not at all an issue.

He broke my tension about my labwork , by talk of things I knew and my interests. Then discussed my labwork , with and reason for each one. Gave me the plan of my care now, and future. Followed by my next appointment and if a need to quicker appointment. I am happy with my doctor & will continue to follow his orders. I drive 435 miles each years for the past 6 yrs. ( once to twice yearly for my follow up. Thank you. Dr. Kirkel

WellStar really needs to improve the registration area on the first floor. Even though my chart had the yellow dot no one told me to go upstairs. I sat in there for 40 minutes waiting to be called. Two girls sit at a desk and do nothing? A real zoo in there. Process Improvement needed very badly.
