This practice should let their patients know they are going to bill for the lab services, and this should be handled at the time of the visit. I have been coming there since 2000 and no one tells you that you will be billed for lab services when they take your blood in the observation room not in the lab. WellStar applies your copay to lab visit, which you didn't have, and you receive a bill for the copay which you know you paid at the time you had your visit with the doctor.

My appointment was at 10:30. I was not told about lab work. I arrived shortly after 10. I checked in at the lobby. I was not called back for lab so I could see the Dr by 10:45. I finally saw the Dr with results of lab work. I left facility at about 12:30. I had been there for nearly two and one half hrs and I had appointment

This is my favorite practice..,the office is continually working to streamline and improve the checkin process. Each employee works well as part of the team. As I move from one area to the next. I am amazed at the efficiency and care that each patient is given. Dr Kirkel is always extremely kind and supportive in explaining my scans and answering my questions and concerns . He is extraordinary ! So thankful to be a patient at this practice for 19 years
