We switched doctors within the same facility after our son's last doctor kept kissing him on the cheek at the end of every appointment. But we absolutely loved Dr. Sherman and all the nurses. They were all very friendly, patient, and informative. And most of all, it didn't feel like a typical rushed doctors appointment. Everyone was very personable and my husband and I enjoyed being able to have friendly chats with everyone who treated our son that day.

Our experience with Dr Sherman and his nurses are always wonderful to us, I am so grateful for their care and patience with my daughter. My only complaint is that I used to be able to communicate with our providers via MyChart for things, such as verifying dosages or additional things to add to my child's diet, and he could explain those things to avoid bringing my daughter in for a visit. Which was what this initially started out as. I sent a message via MyChart, was called by the nurse triage line, who sounded less than pleased to be having to talk to me, told to come in to be seen, and had a same day appointment. But I went through all of this in a 2 day time span just to be able to talk to my daughter's provider about if I could give her a stool softener at her age or not. My daughter screams and cries the second we go into an exam room until we leave. I was trying to avoid an in person appointment for a medication question that could have been clarified via MyChart by our provider. He used to be able to reply personally to messages via MyChart but since the triage line started, that's been taken away. I fully understand healthcare nowadays is about making money, and making money happens in person at these visits, I know. But I'm exposing my child to sick patients, traumatizing her for an unnecessary exam when everything could've been solved in 1 message from our provider. It is absolutely not Dr Sherman's fault, or the office staff's fault, but it is definitely a new protocol implemented that should be changed back. Things that already work don't need fixing.

Everything from the initial call to the email with the staff and eventually the visit was all amazing. Outstanding care, kind, compassionate and very understanding. The first 30 seconds created the most memorable and a very lasting experience. Thank you to everyone who assisted and communicated with me regarding establishing care for my girls. Dr. Sherman, the MA and the front office staff spoke with my daughter as though they knew her for a long time. She was treated very well.

My son had a very swollen ear that I was deeply concerned about. However, the doctor didn't seem to be worried and prescribed us an antibiotic for the staph infection that my son has in his arm. This was great news, but unfortunately, we had to go to the hospital at night because the ear was extremely swollen and painful. I feel like this could have been avoided if the doctor had paid more attention. As a result, we are now on two antibiotics because just one wasn't effective. The hospital doctor prescribed us an antibiotic for cellulitis.

Dr. Sherman's nurse is always a real joy. Dr. Sherman, he's not the doctor that I normally see. We normally see Nicole McCogg because that's our favorite one. But Dr. Sherman, very good provider, very personable, very likable. Offices are clean, staff are friendly. I just love these guys and I wouldn't go anywhere else and I recommend them all the time.

Dr. Sherman has been so great to both our kiddos from the beginning. He is a great listener, listens without judgement no matter how silly our questions may be, provides great advise for first time parents, and is very nice. Very happy with our choice to continue going to this practive!

Dr. Sherman is absolutely amazing. I could not ask for a better doctor for my daughter. That is why when we moved out of the town where Dr. Sherman practices, we still make the drive 45 minutes one way to come see him each and every time. However, since your merger or your policy updates or changes or what have you, your new phone receptionists make it very hard to get in touch with our provider and make scheduling with him extremely difficult. So if you could work on that and give Dr. Daniel Sherman a kudos, it would be much appreciated.

I want to share feedback about my visit today because it felt very different from my previous experiences with Wellstar. From the beginning, the medical assistant interaction felt very routine and lacked warmth or engagement. Initially, the provider seemed attentive and professional. However, once I began asking questions and expressing concerns about vaccinations for my one-year-old, his demeanor noticeably changed. His body language shifted, eye contact decreased, and he appeared disengaged from both me and my child. This change became apparent once it was clear that I was seeking clarity and had reservations, not refusing care outright. I understand that Wellstar is pro-vaccine, and I respect that. However, asking questions about vaccinations-especially in the current climate where parents are hearing conflicting information-should not result in a change in attitude or level of care. Having questions does not mean a parent is anti-medicine or uninterested in their child's well-being. I left the visit feeling dismissed rather than supported. I believe parents should feel safe, respected, and encouraged to ask questions without experiencing a shift in energy or engagement from their provider. This experience showed me a side of that provider that makes me no longer interested in continuing care for myself or my child within Wellstar, and I will be seeking a new practice outside of the Wellstar system.

I always love bringing my kids to the office because it's a short wait for the most part. They get me right in. They listen to me. I feel like they care about my child and my concerns about my child. And I've just always felt like it's a great practice.

I believe this practice needs more specialists to handle some cases. It took 7 wks to get call on appointment for ADHD after turning papers in from myself and teacher

As a first time mom, I am so pleased with every visit I've had over the last 2.5 years with Dr. Sherman. He's a very thorough physician and listens to every concern I have. I couldn't ask for a better provider for my child.

Dr. Sherman was very nice, and he did listen attentively. We are still getting to know him, and he's getting to know us. Most importantly, my teen son liked him and felt that he was listening to him. That is very important to me.

Dr Sherman was wonderful! That was my first appointment with him and he was kind and caring. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. I did not feel rushed and he had a really good bedside manner. He interacted well with my son and he felt comfortable with him.
