About Daniel Holtz, MD
Dr. Holtz earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Georgia and his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Texas – Houston Medical School. Before joining Wellstar, Dr. Holtz completed his fellowship in hand surgery at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. Prior, he was a resident physician in general surgery at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Holtz is board certified in Hand and General Surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Holtz enjoys running, swimming, World War II history and college football.

Go in for Carpal tunnel in my right hand and get a splint and said to call Wellstar Neurology 2 phone number/ locations and neither one will answer the phone. Finally first one answered and said they don't do nerve test anymore. Second one had to fax them to get a response. Then they said that I needed a referral. First visit should have set me up a referral and schedule me. Ridiculous, that I have numbness in my right hand and I leave with a splint and retesting. A shot in my opinion would have been better.
