About Daniel Holtz, MD
Dr. Holtz earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Georgia and his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Texas – Houston Medical School. Before joining Wellstar, Dr. Holtz completed his fellowship in hand surgery at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. Prior, he was a resident physician in general surgery at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Holtz is board certified in Hand and General Surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Holtz enjoys running, swimming, World War II history and college football.

Doctor Daniel Holtz is an excellent Orthopedic Hand Doctor/Surgeon. He is compassionate, courteous, and very professional in all he does. Excellent Hand Surgeon; very honest, and tells me when Surgery isn't the right option. Dr. Holtz easily thinks out of the box, when rarer techniques are needed. The Nurses and M.A.'s are wonderfully supportive also.

When I got to the back, the nurse was very apologetic and thanked me for my patience and then the doctor did the same. It was very much appreciated and they were all very professional and nice.
