About Daniel Holtz, MD
Dr. Holtz earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Georgia and his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Texas – Houston Medical School. Before joining Wellstar, Dr. Holtz completed his fellowship in hand surgery at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. Prior, he was a resident physician in general surgery at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Holtz is board certified in Hand and General Surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Holtz enjoys running, swimming, World War II history and college football.

The staff and the doctor are fabulous. We had a difficult time finding the office. We found the 790 Church St. building, but the practice is not listed on the directory. The office staff stated they have been complaining for over a year and still, no one puts Dr. Holtz on the directory in the lobby.That needs to be addressed.

The office staff, nurse and X-ray tech were all very nice and made me feel at ease. Dr. Holtz has the best bedside manner and is very easy to talk to. He seems like he genuinely cares about you and takes time to talk to you and is not in a rush like other doctors I've seen. I would most definitely recommend him to family and friends.

I had a great experience. It was my first time actually having surgery and Dr. Holtz came in and talked to me for a minute before and put me at ease and he just had such a calm demeanor. I never felt nervous at all. It was totally seamless. It was great. As far as surgery goes, it was a great experience. And that's all. I would definitely recommend him again and use him again if I needed to. Thank you.
