We had excellent care from the doctor and her staff. The wait time, however, was terrible. We were told to arrive at 2PM, which we did. We were not taken back to see the doctor until 2:50PM. This was for a well-check for my two children. The assistant conducted the first part of the check up and the doctor then came in promptly. But we then waited another 30 minutes after she finished to get the vaccinations. In total, we were there from 2pm until 4:30pm. We missed another appointment I had set for my children at 3:45pm.

Yeah, my experience with the provider was great. However, the nurse that I had prior to seeing her didn't have the best bedside manner and suggested that the daycare that I bring my son to is not safe and that I should change because he got hand-foot mouth. However, hand-foot mouth is so common and is going around everywhere. I didn't really appreciate his condescending tone and he said it to me twice. So yeah, I would love for that to be looked at. Thanks so much. Bye.

I wanted to say that I was grateful that we have a service like this in our area so that we didn't have to go to the ER or wait until the next day to be seen at our regular pediatrician. And I also really appreciate getting a follow-up call whenever my baby's results were ready.

nurse elizabeth (morgan) and dr Paelez were exemplary. Nurse elizabeth immediately established a trusting rapport with my very nervous 9 year old. She was personable, kind, professional. Even had we needed to wait (thankfully no wait!) she would have been worth any time in the waiting room. Dr Pelaez was born to be a pediatrician. She was so calming and thorough. I am extra thankful because while my child tested negative for everything, she suggested I retest the next day as flu b is taking time to show. Sure enough, i tested today and she is positive. Thanks to the doctor's expertise and advice, we are still within our window to begin treatment and hopefully shorten the duration of this for my daughter. It was by far our best experience at this after hours location and I have been bringing my 5 children here for over 10 years. Please keep wellstar a place where nurses like elizabeth morgan and dr pelaez want to work. children are healthier and safer because of them.
