About Christina Bancroft, PhD
Dr. Bancroft is an assistant professor in the department of Pediatrics at Medical College of Georgia and a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in child clinical and pediatric psychology in the department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior at MCG, where she also completed her doctoral internship in child and family psychology. Her doctoral degree is in counseling psychology from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D., and she earned a master’s degree in community counseling from William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. Clinically, Dr. Bancroft specializes in integrated pediatric primary care, psychological assessment and cognitive behavioral therapy for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental and mood disorders. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, including the divisions of Health and Pediatric Psychology. Her research interests include scale development, conflict management and integrated behavioral healthcare.
