Dr. Brandy Cross received her bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. She received her medical degree and completed her general surgery internship and residency with the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Dr. Cross completed her surgical critical care fellowship with University of Florida Shand's Hospital in Gainesville, FL and her hand surgery fellowship with OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Cross is board-certified in general surgery, critical care, and hand and upper extremity surgery. She is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Surgeons.

Love this office, the physician and her team are caring, professional, listen and take time to explain and allow you to ask questions. The only issue I have is there is not a Wellstar location that provides this service closer to the South Side of town. Highly recommend!!

This office is AMAZING! If all medical offices operated like this one there would only 10s on all surveys! Beginning with the person who checked me in, Flossie. Absolutely delightful. Wanda the medical assistant, just as amazing as Flossie! Both of them professional test personable. When Dr. Cross was running a few minutes behind, she came in the room to let me know. Communication is EVERYTHING in that situation. And Dr. Cross....I can't find words for how much I love and appreciate her! She explains EVERYTHING so that I understand everything she is doing and recommending.

She's a thorough, thoughtful and masterful teacher doctor. She skillfully illustrated and explained my hand condition. Great teachers/doctors like Dr Cross shared and give one literature to support diagnosis and treatment options. I felt valued, heard, and seen especially when she presented options and most importantly allowed me to weigh in my treatment plan. I appreciated that she didn't promote a brand for my hand brace. Dr Cross is a superb orthopedic. I highly recommend her.

Hi, I had a very good experience with Dr. Cross. She was very knowledgeable, so I'm grateful for that. And she was a nice doctor all around, very sanitary. Office is very clean, and office staff was very, very nice.

Dr. Cross is a fantastic doctor. She does it the old-fashioned way where she talks to you and listens to you and you know exactly where you are in the treatment program. I would recommend her to anyone who needed a hand surgeon. Thank you.
