Dr. Brandy Cross received her bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. She received her medical degree and completed her general surgery internship and residency with the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Dr. Cross completed her surgical critical care fellowship with University of Florida Shand's Hospital in Gainesville, FL and her hand surgery fellowship with OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Cross is board-certified in general surgery, critical care, and hand and upper extremity surgery. She is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Surgeons.

The doctor was very thorough and explained everything well.

Dr Cross acted self-righteous and accusing me of not keeping appointments. Absolutely false accusations. Her concerns was all about her being right. She wanted to further treat my symptoms without any concerns about my history. A FACT. She wanted to give me a steroid shot and if you look at my history that would not be good for me. So so disappointed and upset with the visit Also my appointment was at 2:30p and I wasn't seen till 3:40ish. Unacceptable. I guess the patients time is not important to the Doctor. Worst Doctor visit i ever had.

Yeah, Dr. Cross was a fantastic doctor. My only suggestion and the only thing that really bothered me was how late she was running. She was running well over an hour late. And it sounds like based on what I overheard other patients saying, that is a very common occurrence with her. And it's very frustrating as somebody who works and had to take off work for that and ended up missing a lot more work time than was expected. I think it would be really helpful if she was running more on time. An hour plus is really not acceptable, especially for working people. That's my only feedback. Thank you.

I didn't see the doctor until 40 minutes after my appointed time. I left voice mail message and didn't receive returned call before appointment. I tried to send message on MyChart, but the provider wasn't listed to send message to. The office sent me a my chart message the day before my appointment. I sent message in MyChart and didn't receive a reply. I understand things happen. I had another appointment following this appointment. I was late. I was disappointed. my time is important too.

Dr Cross acted self-righteous and accusing me of not keeping appointments. Absolutely false accusations. Her concerns was all about her being right. She wanted to further treat my symptoms without any concerns about my history. A FACT. She wanted to give me a steroid shot and if you look at my history that would not be good for me. So so disappointed and upset with the visit Also my appointment was at 2:30p and I wasn't seen till 3:40ish. Unacceptable. I guess the patients time is not important to the Doctor. Worst Doctor visit i ever had.
