This doctor looked at my hand one time without explaining anything and he was not helpful at all

The check-in experience was less than desirable. This line included check-in and check-out patients. I felt bad for everyone. The line was out the door this morning. I did see one small sign behind the check-in desk apologizing for the inconvenience. Us, old folks, can't read that sign until we get right up to the check-in/check-out window. As a first impression of this scenario, I was worried that I would only be treated as a number and not a individual patient. I really did consider walking out. But I decided to stay. I check in but had a hard time hearing the young lady behind the counter. Wasn't her fault, all the other patients were talking so loudly. Dr. Shiver was a friendly, knowledgeable, funny and definitely brings your stress level down while discussing your treatment options.

I had tried to address this problem with a previous provider with no resolution. This doctor, Dr. Shriver and his staff were amazing. They listened to what my symptoms were. They took the account of my history and what I'm experiencing in order to determine what is the actual problem. And I'm feeling a lot better. I'm so thankful and so appreciative.

The doctor explained to me I have a raiser on my wrist and he can have surgery on me but won't recommend it due to he feels I'm exaggerating my pain. First I want to say I hurt 24/7 there's no exaggeration. The dr gave me a sonogram and seen a large ball in my wrist. To say it shouldn't hurt like I explained to him my symptoms of pain is a 10 he told me im exaggerating. It was a horrible experience I had. I came for treatment to my hand but I didn't receive that.
