Dr. Van Alstein is an excellent doctor. Every time I come, he takes the best of care of me and helps me out with anything I need. My only complaint I have with your organization is trying to get appointments. You have these doctors so overburdened that it's hard to get to see them when I need to see them. And you need to set things up so that they have more breathing space and that they can see the patients when the patients need to be seen. This is not the doctor's fault, this is your scheduling fault and a lack of extra people to help. Anyways, that's it. Thank you.

Andrew Van Alstein is without a doubt the most diligent and all-encompassing MD that I've ever had been joined with. He is very accurate. He's very concerned about health. He's always on top of exactly what I need or what I don't need. And his assistant, Kim, is also a hands-on person. She's always there if I have to call the office for some reason or another. As big as WellSTAR is, to be able to get in touch with your main medical doctor, your family medical doctor, it's very important at my age, 75 years old. But I can't recommend them any better than I already have. They're terrific.

The front desk staff- Check in staff were not very welcome or friendly. Didn't greet me or others. I stood at window 1-2 minutes and was finally acknowledged with " are you checking in". I feel with as great as the Drs are here the front desk should be more professional and welcoming.
