I would like to say a few kind words about the staff who attended to me at the clinic yesterday. Dee, the new nurse, was very pleasant; she welcomed me warmly and carried out all procedures properly. Dr. Asthana and I established a good rapport two years ago. He is very attentive to his patients, always listens patiently, and explains the best course of treatment in plain language. At my age, it can be difficult to make sense of one's health issues, but he explains exactly what is happening in the body and recommends the necessary medications-and it always helps. I am very glad that Dr. Ashtana is my family doctor. Many thanks to him!

The Dr A was not able to explain to me why I needed to see him every month since I am on Zepbound. This must be new policy with this practice since I have been on it for more than 5 months and only needed to see the Doctors every 3 months. This is a new policy instituted by Wellstar and nothing to do with the doctors. Is Wellstar trying to generate more billable hours? I may have to find another provider!

Dr. Asthana has been the best PCP I have ever had. He listens and also gives great advice on health treatment. Instead of forcing treatment or care; he ask my opinion to see which route I would like to take. Bedside manner is superb. That is something which is lacking in modern healthcare facilities. Lucy is the MA who triaged me for the appointment. She was quite friendly and brought some laughs into the appointment. Friendly and efficient check-in and check-out process. So kudos to the front office staff. The phlebotomist was excellent with her technique. I didn't feel the stick and process was over before I knew it. Overall, I give my Wellstar experience and appointment an A+.

Doctor Asthana asked me about my health problems and gave me so many of the answers. He is always well-mannered, educated and attentive. I noticed the clinic has expanded and the lab now has its own room.
