Dr. Keruakous is a specialist in blood diseases who focuses on treating multiple myeloma, a type of cancer affecting certain cells in the bone marrow. Her areas of professional interest include the intersection of immunology and oncology, as well as helping patients fight multiple myeloma by boosting their immune systems. She earned a master's degree in clinical and translational research from the University of Oklahoma, investigating the importance of the immune system in fighting cancer cells. She then earned her doctoral degree at the University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in Egypt. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Toledo, and a fellowship in hematology-oncology and bone marrow transplant at the University of Oklahoma. Keruakous belongs to the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy.
