Dr. Liaugminas earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from The Ohio State University and his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Liaugminas is a member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Medical Association.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with my EMG and NCS today with Dr Alexander Liaugminas, MD. He was so kind and informative. I can't believe I had such a positive experience with this testing. It is the third time I have had this type of testing over the last 20 years and it isn't fun testing. He coached me through it. He explained everything as it was going on. He was gentle. He has a great bedside manner and made it as enjoyable as this type of thing could be. I learned a lot and felt that he really cared about me and my health. I was just incredibly pleasantly surprised. I am very grateful for the care and concern he showed me today. I also appreciate the information he gave me along the way. Not only was it important information but it also helped distract me from the pain and discomfort at times. He is a great doctor and a genuine and kind human!
