The physician did not listen well to my concerns. He failed to make a reasonable connection with my existing heart diagnoses and gut issues. I was concerned about gut biome exacerbating my heart condition (the gut-heart axis), but the physician shut the conversation down without considering my questions related to dysbiosis. Because of multiple morbidities, I require a more holistic and robust approach to my care.
