I had to get lab work done. They gave me a list of locations. I went to 400 Towers, signed in and was denied service. The nurse said it only for their patients. So, I stopped by the one on Barrett Parkway. Tried to log in and the system said I was logged in at Towers and there was no way to change it. This is not the first time of this lack of access to Wellstar labs. It is getting old, my husband has had the same problem. Someone needs to fix the lab access. Please!

The PA was exceptionally concerned and very conscientious. The receptionists were cordial. The physician was professional and quite perceptive... picking up an audible problem with my voice which I had not mentioned ... during our first meeting. He clearly explained his scope and other specialities to which he would refer me.

The young girl at check in could have been a little more friendly. Did not seem to want to be there. Otherwise I loved the practice, the nurse was great and the doc was super. I will make sure to let all my friends know about this practice. My experience was wonderful. Thank you.

Before visiting Dr. Messallam, I was incredibly frustrated with the treatments and diagnoses I received from other GI doctors. I suffered from constant diarrhea caused by antibiotics that destroyed my good bacteria. As a result, I quickly developed C. difficile, campylobacter, and norovirus. Working in the school system took a serious toll on my health-I got so sick. No one ever told me to take probiotics, and by the time I started, it was already too late. Dr. Messallam is the only GI specialist I truly trust. He has conducted countless tests and treatments, and I feel so much better now. I've even gained a little weight, which was very important to me. Dr. Messallam is a brilliant gastroenterologist, and I wouldn't trade him for anyone else. I truly hope he stays with Wellstar.

He is cordial, has great bedside manners, listens, is very knowledgeable, and puts a lot of thought into the patient and the patient's condition. My father was an MD and my pediatrician. I have gotten that level of care from perhaps only five other doctors in my nearly 70-year lifetime, and Dr. Messallam is one of them.

The testing is extensive. I'm still being followed to determine a valid diagnosis. The previous lab I was sent to did not perform the complete labs, Gastro Dr. wasn't too happy with this outcome. They only performed partial lab order which is causing doubles trips and confusion.
