My comment really doesn't have to do with this visit in particular, but with the way things were handled over 30 days ago when my headache was just getting started. I could have come in to the office and gotten an order for an MRI at that point, but instead, the nurse who "handled" it at the time just went down a checklist and closed by saying, "You need to go to the ER." With healthcare costs as they are, even with my insurance, going to the ER was not/is not financially viable. I'd rather have whatever is going on inside my head just go ahead and explode than have to saddle my family with the exorbitant cost of going to the ER. So here I am at Day 41 of an unrelenting headache and I was finally able to be seen by someone in Powder Springs and they ordered the MRI that I could have gotten over 30 days ago.

Today was my first time visit with Dr. Ahmed Mahmood, for an annual physical. I had a lot of questions and he answered them all. I am very pleased to have found a good doctor. He didn't seem in a rush to get you in and out of the office. He is very professional and well educated. I highly recommend him as a primary care physician.

All the nursing staff, very nice. The facility is clean. I will continue to come to that practice. This review, WellSTAR, the questions are pretty long. I would recommend shortening it. Okay, well the staff and the nurse that took all my vitals, they were great. The doctor, he was okay. I mean it was a Medicare annual physical so, you know, there wasn't much to it. So I usually go to specialists for my other problems that I have and I'll probably continue to do that. I'll come in as needed whenever I have a flu or something or minor injury or something, I'll come in. But that's about it. Thank you.
