Dr Sheikh is a very good cardiologist. He took his time, explained test results and made suggestions that enabled me to make a decision I felt comfortable with. Would highly recommend this office and Dr Sheikh

Dr. Sheikh is very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Unfortunately, his appointment schedule (along with several other Wellstar specialists' schedules) is never available, not even within 3 months of my last appointment and therefore, I can never make a follow-up appointment prior to leaving his office. I'm always told someone would contact me to schedule my follow-up appointment but I never receive any phone calls. I always have to put a reminder on my phone to keep calling until his schedule is available. One thing I want to mention that is not a reflection of him or his office. That is, lately, I am inundated with texts, emails and phone calls to confirm all my Wellstar appointments. Once I have confirmed my appointment and have already checked in on MyChart, I should only be receiving one more phone call as a reminder, not email + text + phone call almost every other day.

Yeah, it would help if when you have an appointment, your appointment is with the doctor more accommodating than it was. I had a 9:45 appointment and I did not see my doctor until 10:20. I really didn't appreciate that. I was on someone else's time and they had to leave work to take me to the doctor. So they lost time and work. Plus the results that I got from the doctor could have been told over the phone. Basically, my whole appointment could have been over the phone except for the EKG. So I mean, the accommodations for my appointment to me was a waste.

I came prepared with questions about my health situation and Dr. Sheikh listened and a plan and recommendations were made. Unfortunately at my age and status of my health, there doesn't seem to be too much that can be done to improve my situation. But that's what happens when you get old.
