Specially trained to support and complement your obstetrician or gynecologist, Wellstar Ob-Gyn hospitalists work exclusively in the hospital and are available 24 hours a day, following up on your tests, procedures, treatments and communicating with your Ob-Gyn. Our hospitalists may assist in or perform deliveries and surgeries, respond to emergencies and act as critical members of your care team, which could include midwives, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, advanced practice professionals and other physicians. Hospitalists ensure optimum outcomes, coordinating care and focusing only on your healing and well-being.
