Wellstar neurologists are experienced with diagnosing neurological conditions and personalizing treatment and management plans that are right for you. We work closely with a network of specialists to provide you with the highest level of care. Our team includes experts specializing in headaches and migraines, movement disorders, neuroimmunology, neurophysiology, neurosurgery, functional neurosurgery and neuro rehabilitation. 

Physicians at this location offer patients excellent care in movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor.

Dr. Deja Rose is a Neurologist with specialized training in Multiple Sclerosis and similar disorders of the brain and spinal cord. She received a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from Georgetown University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. She completed her Neurology Residency at Thomas Jefferson University, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and served as chief resident. Dr. Rose furthered her expertise at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation by completing a 2-year clinical research fellowship in Neuroimmunology.

Dr. David Villasana received his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center and his clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the University of California.

Dr. Villasana is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Georgia Medical Association, and the Cobb County Medical Association.
