I was seen by Dr. Allen, my cardiologist, and I've never had such a caring doctor. She was very informative, gave me all of the information I needed, and was not pushy, and she worked with me for what was best for me. as an individual and I felt very good like I was being treated as an individual patient and not as a number. The assistants were really good. They came in to do my blood pressure and they spoke to me and told me what they were doing and I just love this practice. She even talked about what it's like to have a family history of heart disease and preventative measures, which include eating and early detection. I really enjoyed the visit. Yes, I received a bill for $55 for my appointment with Dr. Allen, and I paid $55 when I checked in for my appointment. Also, Dr. Allen said that she was upping the dosage on my cholesterol medication. When I get to the pharmacy, my prescriptions are free with my medical insurance. The new pill that she prescribed for me is $500 and some odd dollars. Can you please change it back to the cholesterol medicine that I was taking and just double the dosage of the same pill? Because I'm not paying $500 for any kind of medication, not with all the money that I pay for insurance.

I started coming to this practice when Dr. Sheila Robinson was there. People asked me why I drive so far to see a heart doctor. I tell them that if you like the doctor you will drive far as you need to in order to receive the care you need and when the staff greets you by name and with kindness why would I go somewhere else. As long as I am pleased with my healthcare I will continue my service at this location.
