Shady Eldaif, MD

Shady Eldaif, MD, is a board-certified thoracic surgeon at Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center who specializes in robotic and minimally invasive surgery for lung cancer, esophageal cancer, and other conditions affecting the chest. With extensive experience performing complex robotic thoracic procedures, Dr. Eldaif brings advanced surgical expertise and a commitment to preserving patients’ quality of life. He previously served as director of thoracic oncology at City of Hope Atlanta, and as system chair of surgery and chief of thoracic surgery at Northside Hospital.

A graduate of Roswell High School, Dr. Eldaif has deep roots in the North Fulton community he now serves. He earned his medical degree and completed his surgical training at Emory University School of Medicine, followed by advanced fellowship training in robotic thoracic oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. An experienced physician and researcher, he works closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide personalized treatment plans, combining innovative surgical techniques with compassionate, patient-centered care.
