I was highly disappointed with my visit. Instead of the doctor just stating that he didn't recommend surgery, he proceeded to tell me I needed to lose weight by following a diet of chicken and water. He did not look at my medical history and see I have been struggling with my weight for over 15 years as well as what medication I was on or any of my past medical history. He assumed I wanted a quick fix when I have had back pain on and off for over 10 years.

I appreciate the time he spent with me explaining my situation. I saw another doctor last year and he spent less than five minutes with me before announcing that he couldn't do anything for me.

He was confident and obviously skilled at his craft. I was very comfortable. He was an excellent communicator and, both my Wi-Fi and I are still talking about the experience. You need to clone Dr. Perry.

I don't feel that this Dr even though being recommended from another wellstar doctor cared at all about how o felt my pain and most of all was very dry. I was in the office and this Dr was on vacation so his PA saw me whom may I say was more concerned and answered all my questions. Fast forward to my call with DR Parry whom I never met did. It get to see me or evaluate me and he can only say that what I have is just something that everyone can have and there is no reason to how and why. Went to focus on my weight as the reason to why I'm having neck pain and headaches here and there. I feel like Wellstar doctors should just say they don't have a clue when they don't have a clue and keep it moving. If I wanted to further discuss my weight I have my PCP and my best health doctor for that. This doctor was very dismissive and from my experiences with Wellstar doctors within the last 2 years from ENT to pediatricians I can honestly say it's very hard for me to recommend any doctors from Wellstar itself.

Between serving on the tennis court, racking up strikes in bowling and learning new moves in martial arts, he defines life by what brings him the most joy: movement.
But all that changed when severe neck and shoulder pain entered the picture. Ulysses could barely do a double take let alone hold play doubles on the court.
“Not being able to do simple things like reach for a bowl in the cupboard or turn my neck were big limitations in my life,” Ulysses said. “I tried to tough it out. But when the pain was non-stop, that’s when I decided I needed medical attention.”

“Ulysses had a narrowing in the cervical canal of his cervical spine, the bony portion through which the spinal cord is transmitted,” Dr. Parry said. “As we age, virtually all patients develop some amount of this compression.”
“In Ulysses’ case, his spinal compression had become so severe that it was causing spinal cord dysfunction,” Dr. Parry explained. “His condition resulted in weakness in his hands, being unable to walk with confidence and feeling very unstable on his feet.”
