Marshall Newman, DMD

Dr. Newman is a pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgeon and serves as an assistant professor in the department of Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery at Medical College of Georgia. He graduated from Medical University of South Carolina as valedictorian and completed his postgraduate residency in oral/maxillofacial surgery there as well. He then completed fellowships in advanced craniomaxillofacial surgery and trauma at the Head and Neck Institute in Portland, Ore., and in pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgery at the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons. He has further obtained an ABOMS Certificate of Added Qualification in pediatric cleft/craniofacial surgery. He serves on multiple committees within Wellstar, affiliated with Medical College of Georgia, and has previously served as director for undergraduate education in oral/maxillofacial surgery and as assistant residency program director.
