Marcus Crawford, MD

Dr. Crawford graduated from Morehouse College on a full academic scholarship and earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center. Prior to his medical education, he spent summers during college performing polymers research at NASA research centers around the country. Dr. Crawford completed his residency at Baylor College Medical Center and received training in state-of-the-art reconstructive techniques at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. His academic achievements include multiple peer reviewed articles, book chapters and presentations to professional societies. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and Cobb County Medical Society. Dr. Crawford participated in a medical mission trip, Operation Smile in Lima, Peru, where he repaired cleft lip and palate deformities on children who did not have the resources to have these congenital deformities repaired.
